Elinem Engineering was founded in 1981 as a partnership between Jan du Plessis and Willem Smith. They started manufacturing machines for analyzing uranium ore but have since diversified into various fields of engineering. In 1989 Elinem Engineering registered as a private company and became a multi-disciplinary Engineering Firm providing the entire industry with high tech engineering capabilities.

It is the policy of Elinem Engineering to produce, and deliver on time, products and services that will give complete customer satisfaction by meeting the customers’ defined requirements and specifications, and to maintain quality leadership in the markets we serve.

Our Workforce:

Elinem Engineering has skilled Mechanical and Electronic engineers with many years of experience in Design and Development of Mechanical and Electro-mechanical systems. The Engineers are supported by a group of well qualified and experienced artisans and operators. Elinem Engineering is accredited by Manpower for the training of apprentices as Tool and Die Makers and Turner Machinists. Elinem’s various departments are the following:

Through our commitment to “Manufacture with Technology”, a quality assurance department ensure quality products and services to Elinem’s clients through a well equipped metrology department. We make an effort to understand the current and future customer needs and to meet customer requirements irrespective of the value or complexity of the work and strive to exceed customer expectations.

Training:

The complete manufacturing of highly sophisticated mixers for the explosives industry.
The complete range of Reinzi Valve under license of Dupleix Liquid Meters has been manufactured for more than fifteen years. The valves consist of knife gate valves (Ø50 – Ø2000mm), Rhino non-return valves, Flapper valves and Slurry King valves.
Elinem Engineering designed, industrialized and manufactures the entire range of Petrol and Diesel driven welder / generators namely the Buddy Welder which are sold in South Africa and other countries.
For DENEL we manufactured Components for PMP, Optronics, Kentron and Rooivalk Helicopter, Mirage and the Satellite project at HOUTTEQ.

Previous Accomplishments:

Elinem Engineering is accredited by Manpower for the training of apprentices as Tool and Die Makers and Turner Machinists. We also provide extensive training for machine operators, CNC operators, Valve fitters and welding operators.

Applicants must have their N3 qualification.
